Local credit union names business development officer
A Greenwood resident will be in charge of business development at an area credit union.
Amber Coryell has joined Indiana Members Credit Union as a business development officer.
She will assist the credit union by overseeing and servicing new and existing member relationships as well as actively promote and involve the credit union in the local community.

Franklin Chamber of Commerce adds new members
New businesses in Franklin have joined the city’s Chamber of Commerce.

Assisted living center adding memory care workshops
Meridian Senior Living’s Demaree Crossing Assisted Living and Memory Care hosts two ongoing memory care workshops: Caregiver Café and mini dementia workshops every month at 1255 Demaree Road, Greenwood.
The Caregiver Café program offers an opportunity for caregivers of loved ones who suffer from Alzheimer’s or dementia to participate in a forum to ask questions while being surrounded by others going through the same situation. Demaree Crossing’s onsite experts serve as a resource to better understand the loved one’s condition. Caregiver Cafés are 6 p.m. the third Wednesday of every month.
The next mini dementia workshop is at 10:30 a.m. March 28.
Interested participants should call 317-316-8380 to RSVP one day before the event.
Wealth adviser earns recognition
Graig A. Huber, private wealth advisor with Kaiser, Huber and Associates, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services in Indianapolis, has qualified for the company’s Circle of Success annual recognition program.
He has 19 years of experience with Ameriprise Financial.
Credit union hires leader for human resources
Financial Center First Credit Union has hired Frances Tooley as the new vice president of human resources.
Her role will be focused on providing leadership and coordination of all human resource functions.
Tooley began with the credit union in 1987, where she began as a teller at one of the company’s overseas branches in Germany. With a transfer in 1989 to Indianapolis, she took further leadership roles.
Local bank names new vice president
Mutual Savings Bank has named a new vice president.
Jennifer Price Tennell took the position of vice president and commercial loan officer.
Tennell has worked in the banking industry for over 12 years. She joins Mutual Savings Bank after serving over 12 years with Heartland Community Bank and over three years as the executive director for the Johnson County Memorial Hospital Foundation.
Local health network announces CEO retirement
The CEO of a local health network will retire at the end of the year.
Michael K. Kolenda, Ph.D., Windrose Health’s chief executive officer for the past 15 years, will be retiring at the end of 2019.
Dr. Kolenda has been the CEO of Windrose Health Network since the company’s start in December 2003.
Windrose is currently conducting an internal search for his replacement.
Personal care shop coming to Edinburgh
A nationwide chain store that specializes in personal care and home fragrances will have a shop at the Edinburgh Premium Outlets.
Bath and Body Works is anticipated to open at the outlet center in May.
The shop will open in the 3,440 square-foot space near LOFT Outlet.
Shoppers have requested the retailer at outlets, according to a news release from Edinburgh Premium Outlets. The store will include a White Barn candle shop.
The shop will mostly sell body lotions, sprays, soaps, candles and other home fragrance items.
