Four new doctors added to Crystal Run Healthcare: Crystal Run Healthcare has added four new providers to the practice, two of whom are coming to the West Nyack offices. Lindsey Scharfman MD will bring her specialty of obstetrics & gynecology to the West Nyack office. Ontrario D. Lau MD is board certified in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery. He'll be providing care to patients out of the West Nyack offices and in Monroe. Yuriy Zhurov MD, FACS, who completed his fellowship training in minimally invasive surgery/bariatrics at New York Medical College in Valhalla, is joining Crystal Run as a general surgeon. Richard M. Villanoza, PT, who earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Dominican College in Orangeburg, is joining the practice with clinical interests in orthopedics, post-surgical conditions and geriatrics.
Local company named a top company of 2018: Product Launchers Inc., which is a sales and marketing firm based out of White Plains, has been named to Inc. magazine's 37th Annual 5000 for 2018. The list, an exclusive list, represents the nation's fastest-growing and successful private companies in America. Product Launchers was ranked 640th out of 5,000. The 4-year-old company works with both start-ups and established companies. With start-ups, they guide new inventors through the product launch process from development to market. With the established companies, they serve as a sourcing agent and distributor.
Local businesses come together for the holidays: On Dec. 19, the Somers chapter of the Master Networks hosted over 50 business professionals and entrepreneurs at Anytime Fitness in Somers for a Master Networks Morning Mixer. The mixer welcomed other chapters and guests from Westchester/Putnam and Fairfield counties. Anyone who attended the event donated toys to Love Holds Life, a nonprofit organization helping children in the New York metro and Hudson Valley region battling cancer by providing financial support.
White Plains real estate firm snags job in local towers: Howard Properties Ltd. in White Plains has been named the exclusive leasing agent for South Yonkers (SoYo) Tower on the Hudson in Yonkers. The tower has spaces available for lease are customizable and include exposed concrete slab high ceilings, oversize 6-foot windows and river views. The tower was recently bought by Chestnut Holdings, which has the intention of restoring the building to its former glory.
