PETERBOROUGH, N.H. — Nuttin Ordinary, a manufacturer of 100% plant-based, non-dairy cheese, has opened a new 8,000-square-foot, gluten-free facility in Peterborough. The company previously operated from a 750-square-foot plant.
Nuttin Ordinary produces cashew-based cheese with a proprietary probiotic blend that the company said gives it “a natural cheese flavor with wide appeal for those seeking balance, great taste and dairy alternatives.” The cashew cheese contains five ingredients and is naturally dairy-free, gluten-free and soy-free. It contains no added oils, thickeners, gums or sugar.
“This is an exciting corporate milestone for Nuttin Ordinary,” said Josh Velasquez, founder and chief executive officer. “On day one we are able to produce four times the amount of cheese that we could at our previous facility with room to grow. As the plant-based movement grows, so does Nuttin Ordinary.”
Nuttin Ordinary cashew cheese is available in four varieties: original, Italian herb, cracked pepper and spicy.
