Comcast Business Voice service down across the US

BERLIN, Conn. (WTNH) - Comcast Business Voice customers across the nation are experiencing a service outage, including some customers in Connecticut.

News 8 spoke with Comcast officials Wednesday afternoon to confirm the outage. A Comcast spokesperson said that the outage only impact Business Voice customers. Residential customers are not impacted.

It is unclear the total number of businesses that are without service, but the outages have hit several areas of the country, including major cities like New York, Chicago, and San Francisco. The most recent outage update map can be found at DownDetector.com

Comcast officials tell News 8 they are working to fix the outage and restore service as quickly as possible.
