New tour added
A new wagon tour has been added at the Canyons Zipline attraction just north of Ocala. The 1 1/2-hour ride takes place in an open air “Mine-n-Wine Wagon.”
The Historic Zuber Mine and Wine Tours are a way to see from the ground what one can also see from the 160-foot high ziplines. Riders can learn about how the ziplines were built and the history of the area, dating back to the Civil War when troops crossed the property on the way to Fort King, according to the news release.
The venue also offers horseback riding and kayaking. Visit www.zipthecanyons.com or call 351-9477.
