Festival Foods donates hams to food pantries
Festival Foods — with a location at 2151 S. 42nd St., Manitowoc — and Hormel Foods will donate 2,760 hams this month to 15 Wisconsin food pantries in communities served by Festival Foods.
"We are honored to partner with Hormel Foods to help feed Wisconsin families this holiday season,” said Mark Skogen, Festival Foods president and CEO. "We thank Hormel and its partners for their generous donation.”
The makers of the Hormel Cure 81 brand created the Hormel Cure 81 Hams for Hunger program in 1989. To date, the partnership between Hormel Foods and grocery retailers totals more than $13 million in ham donations. This holiday season, more than 55,000 hams will be donated nationwide.

Lakeside Foods donates to scouting food drive
Lakeside Foods, based in Manitowoc, recently donated 10 cases (or 240 cans) of Lakeside Foods vegetables to the scouting food drive.
The donation was made in honor of Giving Tuesday. The canned goods will go to local food pantries in the Manitowoc and Sheboygan area.
Manitowoc Chamber holiday reception Tuesday
The Chamber of Manitowoc County will host its annual holiday reception from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Time Out Sports Bar & Grill, 1027 N. Rapids Road, Manitowoc.
At the reception, Chamber Ambassadors will be collecting non-perishable food items to be donated to the Two Rivers Ecumenical Pantry.

Felician Village announces director of environmental services
Michael Miller has been named director of environmental services at Felician Village in Manitowoc.
Miller has more than 11 years of experience in facilities and housekeeping management. He was the director of facilities at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Manitowoc, where he supervised both maintenance and housekeeping departments. He oversaw the upkeep of all buildings, churches, schools, cemeteries and mausoleum.
Miller is also a licensed journeyman plumber and brings knowledge in heating, electric, HVAC, carpentry and building repair. He has the overall responsibility for the housekeeping and maintenance departments at Felician Village and will work with both departments to ensure the physical needs of the campus are met, as well as manage renovation projects, ensure the facility meets all federal, state, local codes and requirements.
Progress Lakeshore thanks Community First Credit Union for support

The press release said the credit union has been a supporter of Progress Lakeshore, Manitowoc County's economic development corporation, for more than 10 years.
