The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT has organized an inaugural regional Holiday Shopping Trail this holiday season. Beginning on Small Business Saturday, Nov. 24, and continuing until Sunday, Dec. 9, individuals can pick up a Holiday Shopping Trail passport at participating venues. Shoppers will accumulate stamps in their passports by visiting and making purchases. These stamps will enter participants into a special drawing for prizes. Businesses can be featured as participants on the trail at no cost and will receive a variety of promotional benefits related to the passport. HONORS
Robert Flanagan, CAE, of Mystic, has been recognized as an IAAO Fellow by the International Association of Assessing Officers. He has been a member of IAAO since 1964. The IAAO Executive Board approved the new program for 2018 to recognize individuals who have dedicated their career to the development of our profession and made exceptional contributions to the association and the assessment industry. The title was presented during the Closing Ceremony at IAAO's 84th Annual International Conference on Assessment Administration held Sept. 23-26 in Minneapolis.
